Reduction Mammoplasty
Mastopexy is a surgery that aims to correct the sagging ("ptosis") of the breasts by removing excess skin. It can be associated with the use of silicone prostheses to help patients whose desire is for a firmer, rounder breast shape, or even with explantation (removal of the prostheses).
When we want to reduce the volume of the breasts, in addition to mastopexy, we remove excess fat and glands from them, giving the procedure its reducing aspect.
