Although ear surgery is the most performed cosmetic surgery in children, otoplasty can be performed in any age group. With this surgical technique, natural shape can be obtained by correcting birth defects, such as protruding ears, or shape disfigured by trauma, bringing balance to the ears and face.
Short time under anesthesia, most of the times without need of overnight stays at the hospital. Incision is done behind the ear, with no visible scars on the face. Possible to be performed on children, when protruding ears might be a target for bullying.
